Political Map and Nations Empty Re: Political Map and Nations

, 2, and 3 are the East, South and Western Neblin Gears. A race of small humanoids not unlike the ancient and long extinct race of Gnomes. Obsessed with tinkering and inventing they are incredibly advanced, though too scatter brained to make anything of it. The three Gears work together loosely almost like one nation, but retain enough independence to be considered three. There was a fourth and central Gear, but due to their lack of forethought and military organization, a rogue group of dwarves from a far away Hold easily walked in and slaughtered the Nebelin there, taking the land for themselves, as well as some land from the other three gears.

is BlazeHorn Hold, what started as a splinter of another dwarven hold far to the east has grown into a nation stronger than the original hold could ever hope to be. One reason being BlazeHorn is situated in a true mountain range, whereas the Hold of origin was in a very hilly area. BlazeHorn had much more in the way of resources because of this. Another reason being the people who left were mostly veteran warriors, this made it very easy for them to take land and grow quickly. They are generally agreeable, though hold no love for their Neblin neighbors and seek to conquer and enslave them, or wipe them out. \

is known as StoneForge Hold and has been embroiled in a bloody war with the human kingdom neighboring them for generations, slowly widdling away the land of the fool hearty humans who decided taking mountain land from dwarves was smart. They are currently rather xenophobic and reclusive to most humans or people who associate with humans, but are alright with any other races.

is called BrightHammer Hold, and it is a sister territory of StoneForge, they are very much the same, though they remain welcoming to all races regardless of the war and focus much more and smithing and crafting than they do on warfare.

is known as BlazeHill Hold. This was the origin hold for Blaze Horn, and have lost much of their land to nomadic marauding ogres and hill giants since their best warriors left years ago to make their own hold, seeing no future for BlazeHill. They are desperate and seeking the help of any one willing to protect them from their attackers.

is known as the Dominion of Starlight, and is the realm of the haughty, ancient, powerful, and noble High Elven race. While there are other elves in this world, none of made any kingdoms, just small villages. The High Elves think they are the most superior life form on this earth, and any others should bow before their wisdom and power, making their relations with other races very tense.

The Spire of Moonlight, a sub race of high elves with grey skin like the moon, and eyes that shine like light. They rebelled from the Dominion and formed their own nation, going so far as to use magic to cut away the land connecting the two nations, creating a substantial water way between them, known as the Warring Strait. They are much more agreeable and welcoming, though they retain the air of superiority, and usually treat others as if they automatically are not as wise as themselves.

Kingdoms 10-14 are known collectively of the Free Oceanic Kingdoms. They are all democratic republics, and have citizens of nearly every single sentient race, and are possibly the most peaceful and open places in the world, willing to trade with and speak with any of the others. They have never entered a war, though they are rumored to have powerful spell casters at the ready for defensive purposes.

is the smaller of the world's only prominent WAAAGHs, known as the Gutzgasha WAAAGH because of their leader, being named Gutzgasha. You can not treat with them, you can not trade with them, they will kill and conquer your peoples and lands without a second thought. These Orks are the epitome of enraged and bloodthirsty.

is the largest WAAAAAGH in history, Goreboz WAAAAAGH. Named for it's leader, Goreboz. These orks will actually trade and treat, though it is to a very small extent. For example they will trade hides and meat for metal and weapons, or they will agree to fight you if you don't fight them.

is the largest human empire, the Empire of Eurasifa. A large conservative empire of humans, very protective of their own lands, seeing other races as suspicious upon meeting them, and it is very easy to rub them the wrong way. They are currently constructing a massive wall along the borders to better patrol and keep nomads out.

is the war torn Empire of Lareth. They are mainly warriors and masons and metalworkers, but they decided to settle on ancient dwarven lands, incurring the wrath of both nearby Dwarven holds, and have been at war for hundred of years. Do not expect a warm welcome, they are hardened and distrustful people.
