"My name is Niad, a Cobalt dragon, a hundred and fifty years old...well technically. I was that old when use dragons were all imprisoned for what seems like a long fucking time." He grumbled, he was obviously a rather annoyed dragon.

Mythrandiel seemed intrigued. How long ago did this happen Niad? I hatched from an egg in what appeared to be a caved in cavern at the top of this mountain approxamately 100 years ago. My body fell into hibernation when I ran out of sustenance.

Niad seemed surprise "Dragons have been imprisoned for an age! That's about a thousand or so years. You weren't there?...You must have been in another plane then, maybe being in an egg helped. How did your egg get here?"

"12 hours ago and you already have a tribe of Kobolds? You're quite the lucky Adamantine. One of the few on this plane that I've seen too. Wonder why you're here." He said as he tore off a chunk of mammoth for himself to start chewing on

That I am, I was very lucky to find this tribe, and befriend them. We were hoping to hunt down some of those. Could you perhaps point us in the direction where they are plentiful? I'm also curious as to what happened to the other dragons. What caused them to be imprisoned?

He scoffed "Like I know. I am Cobalt, I don't have much magic know how, compared to other dragons." He said like it was common knowledge "And it isn't like it's very difficult to find these...they are rather large" he said with a kind of veiled sarcasm. "Look for the lump of brown fur in a white snowy landscape...their tracks are rather large and round as well." He said pointing to one of it's feet before chomping on the creature again.

He'd nod. I was more meaning to inquire on healthy populations. Don't want to deplete our food source too much. Hopefully what ever did happen, is done though. maybe it is what caused my egg to become entombed here

The cobalt looked at him with a raise eye ridge and laughed heartily "Smart for such a new dragon. Some heards frequent the lower slopes but we are on a dwarven mountain, they get scared off sometimes." He made a rather unhappy sound after uttering the word dwarven.

"And perhaps...I still would like to know why your egg was put here in the first place. A gold or silver may be able to help with that. Or maybe a planar dragon of some type."

You are the first being I have encountered after my friends here, let alone another dragon. Though I did sense something earlier. Though it may have been yourself.

Niad shook his head and sighed "No, other dragon's can't sense me." He pointed to a small golden scale he had "Thats a magical artifacts I stole from some dwarves a long time ago, it hides my presence. I sensed what you did as well, there is a Red in your territory."

" I don't know if it would be to your liking but there is a large now open cavern toward the peak of this mountain. I'd understand if didn't want to be too close, but we should probably work together.

He seemed to ponder this possibility as he chewed on a large bloody chunk of mammoth, he wasn't sure about this but he did see the logic in such an arrangement. "Are you sure? We're both young, this arrangement may become more of a burden down the line, are you ok with risking that?"

" Necessity is the mother of invention and compromise. We're both young, and if what you say is true, many more dragons have suddenly reappeared in the world, in a world likely vastly changed. Having an ally would be helpful for both of us. And I give you my word, if in the future it becomes apparent that we should not have our lairs this close, I will aid you in finding and making, or finding and laying claim to a lair to your liking. I grew up alone, in a world with dragons around, buried under tons of stone ice and snow. I think I value friendship and kinship more than being a solitary feared or revered dragon."

Niad listened intently and gave a small smirk, as small as a dragon's 'smirk' can be. He nodded and said "That sounds good to me then. And if that damned red tries to make a move on you, they won't be expecting a Cobalt living upstairs." He chuckled and stands up "If you do go out hunting though, I suggest you do so cautiously. Running into a red while your focused on something else could be a problem, for you and your little friends."

Murbib nodded "We go hunt food thing now! Store of foods and things run low this time of year, we be needing more, winter close. Fall still." He said explaining the weather, if the mountain was so snow covered in the fall, it would be ridiculous in the winter.

Mythrandiel would Allow the Kobolds to climb up onto his back so they could make quick time to where the mamoths were. He would make sure they were all holding on before taking off and into the air looking for their prey.

Murbib and five of his best hunter climbed up onto his back and held on tight, and when he took off they freaked out in the best of ways, they loved flying with him. They got silent when they reached a certain point near where the animals are, and they saw a herd of Mammoth.
